Reverse Confetti fun and a challenge

Hello, friends:}

I had some more time this week to get creative with my Reverse Confetti's stamps and decided to play along with the Wanna Sketch #6 sketch challenge.
I think I followed this sketch pretty close!! HOOOORAY Sav!!! I did change the banner for some ribbon and a scalloped piece of scrap paper... which originally was supposed to be the feather... but I ended up with this design instead. LOVE

I used some of my new KI papers (found them randomly in WalMart for super cheap). I love this color story! I also used the RC Peacock Pretties stamp set, along with some May Arts Ribbon twine and vintage seam binding. LOVE how this turned out!!

That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration! And be sure to follow us on Facebook HERE. **Also, be sure to check out the "Fetti Finds" each week on the RC blog! You might see your creation shared:)

Paper Smooches SPARKS June Picture Perfect challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The fourth week of the month is always a Picture Perfect challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following picture:

Ok-- so I was a bit stumped by this photo. At first I only saw the color story-- browns and I knew I couldn't do just a color story card. Picture Perfect challenges have you get inspired by the photo... so I looked again. I saw the word "flesh" as the color name. I instantly thought of a world with multiple colored hands with the sentiment "We are ONE". But I didn't have time to create this design... so then I looked again and saw crayons. And that inspired me to make something bright because crayons color the world:)
This is supposed to be an "angled" shot-- wow! I'm really doing a bad job at photos this month!
**NOTE to TRAV-- I need a new camera:)

This was a very simple card that I created because I wanted to make sure the colors popped. I really wanted the sentiment "Wishing You" on top of the colored panel to pop but it's really hard to see:( I used only ONE set {Paper Smooches Chart Toppers} for this card!! LOOOOOOOVE

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends June 30th. I cannot wait to see what you make--I actually can't wait to see what you are inspired by in this photo!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Reverse Confetti Fun and a challenge

Hello, friends:}

I had some more time this week to get creative with my Reverse Confetti's stamps and decided to play along with the Whisker Graphics tag challenge.

This card was supposed to be very CAS-- and I'm talking SUPER clean and simple! However, after stamping the sentiment six times on four different tags and ruining each one.... I had to give up CAS and go with my normal mix and match of patterns/designs/colors. ***(happy sigh) Now that's more like it and my style:)

I used some BasicGrey Kneehighs papers with some Whisker Graphics Lemon divine twine. I also used a WG white tag as the base for my sentiment, which was individually stamped from the I Like You and Dream in Color RC stamp sets. LOOOOOOVE how this turned out!
That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration! And be sure to follow us on Facebook HERE. **Also, be sure to check out the "Fetti Finds" each week on the RC blog! You might see your creation shared:)

Today the Mama Elephant design team is taking a closer look at the Up & Away stamp set. Be sure to stop by the ME blog for more details and inspiration!!!

I absolutely looooooooove this card-- I used up some old papers by My Mind's Eye, as well as an old journal tag for this card. I'm doing great at using up my stash!! I might have to go shopping soon for new crafty product:)

I love this card-- I love that little fox with his umbrella... super cute with his yellow belly! I also love how I masked that sentiment to fit the journalling tag! It fit perfectly! I love the May Arts Ribbon twine that I used for the bow (that burlap twine is my FAV)!!! LOVE everything about this card! FAB x100000!
That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by all of the ME DTs' blogs and the ME blog for more inspiration and details. **New ME Stamps are available NOW!!!
