Paper Smooches SPARKS May Picture Perfect challenge

Hello, friends:}
Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The fourth week of the month is always a Picture Perfect challenge.

This week we are inspired by the following picture:

I was inspired by a couple of things in this photo-- the polka dots and rainbow colors. I instantly thought about a rainbow card... so I pulled out my American Crafts/Dear Lizzy Neapolitan papers. I used my Paper Smooches Baby Shower dies and Giddy Bug set-- LOOOOOOOOOOVE how this turned out:) It's simple yet still has lots of patterns and colors. LOVE x1000000!
Super sorry for the horrible pic-- it was dark and I'm learning how to use different programs (since I had to get a new hard drive).
That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by the other Paper Smooches SPARKS DT members' blogs and leave them some love

And don't forget to stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog for more details. This challenge ends June 2nd. I cannot wait to see what you make--I just LOOOOOVE my Paper Smooches stamps!!!

Also-- this is the very last challenge with the current PSS team. I am so thankful that I was able to work with such talented ladies!!! I have made new friends and plan on keeping in contact with all of them-- def. stalking them (or their blogs) when I have time:) The new PSS team starts next week!!!

THANKS so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

Reverse Confetti and a sketch

Hello, friends:}

I had some more time this week to get creative with my Reverse Confetti's Peacock Pretties stamps and decided to play along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I loooooooove this color story-- coral, black, gold, and white. I wanted to make a simple card (I guess this is my new style- CAS!), so I stamped the feather and sentiment and popped the circle design for a bit of flair. I followed the sketch, but staying true to myself, I interpreted it differently:)
This card was EXTREMELY hard to photograph-- metallic papers with a soft coral and black... OY! The coral looks more pumpkin in this photo... but trust me, this card is seriously gorgeous in person! LOL!

That's it for me today! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog for more inspiration! And be sure to follow us on Facebook HERE. **Also, be sure to check out the "Fetti Finds" each week on the RC blog! You might see your creation shared:)

Mama Elephant Highlight- Filigree {post2}

Hello, friends:}

**Please click HERE or scroll up/down for my Ribbon Carousel challenge post.
Today the Mama Elephant design team is taking a closer look at the Filigree stamp set. Be sure to stop by the ME blog for more details and inspiration!!!

I LOOOOOOVE this card--I was worried that I wouldn't know how to use these scalloped stamps (they are so detailed and fancy-- I'm used to using whimsical stamps).... but once I stamped my design... I fell in LOVE!!!

I was inspired by a Japanese soda bottle-- I used some yellow diag patterned paper from the Studio Calico Abroad collection. I added some bright white twill ribbon with a stamped tag as my final detail. LOOOOOVE! And this is perfect for the Ribbon Carousel challenge {Celebrations-- I was going to use this card for a wedding shower}. CAS but I LOVE it!!!!
LOVE this color combo!
That's it for me today. Be sure to stop by all of the ME DTs' blogs and the ME blog for more inspiration and details. **New ME Stamps are available NOW!!!

RCC#81: Celebrations {post1}

Hello, friends:}

**After 9am--please click HERE or scroll up/down for my Mama Elephant highlight post.
Have you played along with this month's Ribbon Carousel challenge yet??? The RCC is now doing monthly challenges with a huge prize at the end for one lucky player!!! The prize::: a ribbon carousel!!!!!! This month's theme/challenge--- Celebrations

I have been wanting to create a birthday card with this sentiment on it for about six months! I used some old Cosmo Cricket 2wenty-thr3e papers along with some grey vintage seam binding-- I actually wrapped it around the card and tied a bow (but the center panel hides it). I made that brad using the Imaginisce iTop and then stamped the sentiment using several Paper Smooches stamp sets {including Digits, Christmas Sampler, Warm Hearts, Birthday Buddies, Chit Chat, and Perky Plants}. I love love love how it turned out! And I actually played along with a sketch challenge-- or kind of:) I used the Seize the Birthday sketch as my inspiration. **I know that I moved the two circles together and the center panel over... I did a loose interpretation of this sketch:)
That's it for me today--but make sure you stop by the RCC blog for more details for this challenge and DT inspiration!!! And click HERE to link up your creation!
