Paper Made Bakery April Kit creations

Hello, friends:}
I've been sharing my Paper Made Bakery creations over on the PMB blog with just sneak peeks here...so I created a post with all my creations that I made using the current month's kit supplies.
The PMB April kit, Walk on the Bright Side, was packed with lots of buttons and embellishments, along with papers and stamps from Lawn Fawn. This was a super fun kit to play with:)

For my first creation, I created an adorable card by placing lots of patterned papers together and adding different embellishments and punched borders/edges. I shared this for our release hop! Read more about it HERE. **This was an extremely hard card to photograph!
For my first PMB post, I created a simple CAS card. LOVE the design and the fun colors! Click HERE to read more about this card. **Another extremely hard card to photograph!
I made another simple card using the "blocking" technique. EVERYTHING on this card is from the PMB April kit. Read more about this card HERE
Then I got a bit fancy! I used the Action Wobble that is included in the April kit to make this easel card. I love love love it! You can read more about this card and the tutorial HERE.
And I created two CAS cards using the leftover scraps of my April kit. I love that pink/red paper in this kit!! Click HERE to read more about these CAS cards.
That's it for me today! I'll be sharing more Paper Made Bakery goodness soon! We have a new kit coming for May! HOOOOORAY! The PMB release blog hop will be on May 1st--so mark your calendars! You are going to LOVE this new kit!!!

Be sure to stop by the PMB blog and check us out on Facebook and Twitter

Party Cones with Momenta

Hello, friends:}

Today I'm sharing some fun party favors (or gifts for students, mothers, etc.) that I created using some Momenta products! This project was featured over on the Momenta blog on 4.27.12. Click HERE to see it on their blog:)

I learned about a fun German tradition for students when teaching in Germany. Students would receive a "school cone" {also known as a SchultΓΌte} filled with goodies and treats on the first day of school. You can read more about this tradition HERE. While, I know that school is almost ending, I thought that this goodie cone would be perfect for a little friend's birthday party this weekend. Happy birthday, Oliva!!!!
These cones are super simple to make and can be used for almost any party or occasion by switching the Momenta patterned paper {i.e. school treats, valentine's day, birthday parties, award ceremonies, Mother's Day, etc.}. Here's how to make them.
The great thing about this Momenta patterned paper is that there are so many beautiful papers! The bottoms of the cones could be different styles and colors! This Momenta paper pad is def. my FAV!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}

PDCC #129

Hello, friends:}
We are starting another color story today over on the  Play Date Cafe blog! This week's colors are dusk, magenta, seedling. Our sponsor this week is DeNami Designs.
I have to be honest with you....I did not like this color story at first. But....I worked with some stamps and papers...and I LOOOOOOOVE my card! So now I love this color story! :)

I created a fun love themed card (probably one that a husband could give to his wife on their anniversary) using this weeks PDCC color story. I used LOTS of my Paper Smooches stamps, including Falling for You, FOLKal Points, A Little Lovin', Giddy Bugs, Word Salad, Smoocheroos, He Said She Said, and Simply Said OH MY! Love it!
Not sure where the dusk color is on my card--I thought that Basic Grey paper matched perfectly (when holding it up to my iPhone....EH!).

That's it for me....but be sure to stop by the PDCC blog for complete details and prize information! The PDCC sponsor this week is DeNami DesignsBe sure to link up your creations by Tuesday, May 1st at 11:59pm EST

Thanks for stopping by! Be blessed:}

RCC50 ANYTHING Goes with There She GOES

Hello, friends:}

Question: Did you see the news about the Ribbon Carousel Birthday celebration?? Make sure you come back next Tuesday for the party!!

We are excited to have our friends at There She Goes as this week’s RC challenge sponsor! It is no secret that Jessica Knutsen and Corinna have become friends during their crafting journeys. Soooo, we thought it only fitting that Jessica and her team help us celebrate the last challenge of our first year!

There She Goes Clear Stampsoffer high quality photopolymer stamps in designs that you will love to use. Jessica’slove of designing stamps came while looking for different tree stamp sets. “Icouldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so I decided to design my own.The first set that I ever designed was Branching Out. I had so much fun that Idesigned a few more. I was so happy with the end results, that I wanted to beable to share my stamps with others.” Fromelegant to playful, we have something for everyone!

Jessica is giving this week’s lucky random winner a gift certificate of $25 to spend at the There She Goes store!

The challenge is ANYTHING GOES--one of my fav challenges:) This week I used lots of my favorite things: papers from Me & My Big Ideas, black chevron ribbon {available HERE from the Ribbon Carousel}, fabric brad from Pink Paislee, and this little elephant image from There She Goes!!!!! LOVE this card--I needed to make a birthday card for a friend a month ago! I didn't forget her birthday...I'm just a bit slow:)
I really wanted to put small black bows on his nose...but I forgot and took the pictures! There is a theme going on here--forgetting:)
The RCC team would love for you to join in the fun this week! Here are the details:
  • Make your NEW creation following the ribbon carousel challenge (sketch, inspiration, style or color) image. Be sure to include some type of ribbon, twine, hemp, lace....basically, anything that comes on a spool.
  • Your creation can be ANYTHING from cards, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings! ***Be sure to have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace, thread (basically anything that comes on a spool) on your creation! And be sure to follow the RCC challenge theme!
  • Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like SplitcoastStampers, (use the keyword RCC50) with a direct link back to The RCC blog post. Including the challenge graphic isn't a requirement, but sure is appreciated! A participant of our very first challenge didn't link back or mention our challenge and couldn't be named Top Spool, so don't let that happen to you!
  • Come back to The RCC blog post and link in your creation using the Inlinkz button at the bottom of this post. Your image may take a little while to pop up but don't worry it will appear shortly.
  • Be sure to come back the Friday after the challenge ends to see if YOU are a Top Spool! :D
This challenge will end on May 1st at 11:59pm EST.

Please head over to The Ribbon Carousel website and check out their products!!! I just love THIS link on their site--it's shows all the NEW items **THIS link gets me in trouble A LOT! I just love my papers and ribbons:)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be blessed:}
